Special Collections and Archives will be closed for renovation in July. Exact dates will be added as soon as possible. The department will be closed June 13th-17th, with summer hours Tuesday-Friday, 10 am – 4 pm. If you have any questions or special needs for access this summer, please contact us.
Special Collections and Archives preserves, promotes, and provides access rare and unique materials that reflect the history and culture of our community. The department is also the official home of Cal Poly’s University Archives.
This group helps students and researchers find and use treasures that are colorful and priceless: from Cal Poly yearbooks to oral histories of early settlers; from comic books to artists books. See some of what we’ve digitized here.
The Special Collections and Archives department is located on the 4th floor of Kennedy Library, in room 409. We are open to the public Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm. Exceptions to the general hours can be found here.
