Vowell used software emulation to render the interactive content of a CD from 1996 which was sent to prospective students. The “interactive” CD allowed viewers to tab through pages of information, listen to audio, and watch videos about Cal Poly (with all the resolution and speed that Windows 3.1 could offer!).
