Robert E. Kennedy Library is at the heart of holistic learning at Cal Poly. We connect people to information and each other and promote student success in a Learn by Doing environment. The mission of our academic library has continued to evolve. Our goal is to boost collaboration, creativity, and curiosity within the campus community. We aim to create access to information for all current and future students of Cal Poly. To better serve student needs, Kennedy Library will receive funding to modernize the building.
Goals of phase I of the renovation planning process include:

• Setting a vision for the future spaces and services of Kennedy Library.
• Engaging diverse stakeholders and the campus community to solicit input.
• Developing a design concept for the building renovation.

Through this process, Robert E. Kennedy Library reimagines the future Kennedy Library – its spaces, services, and experiences.
