It is the Kennedy Library’s policy to maintain the confidentiality of library users, in accordance with the American Library Association’s Code of Ethics.
Specifically, all circulation records and other records identifying the names of library users are confidential in nature. The Kennedy Library will not reveal the identities of individual users or reveal what information sources or services they consult.
In addition, we protect each library user’s right to privacy and confidentiality with respect to information sought or received and resources consulted, borrowed, acquired or transmitted through any interactions with the library and library staff, including in-person and online reference.
