Join the San Luis Obispo GIS Users Group for SLO GIS Day 2018 at the Downtown San Luis Obispo Public Library. This event features exhibits, a map gallery, and networking for anyone interested in maps and geospatial technologies. GIS Day is a great opportunity for students, professionals, and the public to share their interest in mapping from across different disciplines and domains, from education and research to local government, non-profits and private industry.
Held each year on the Wednesday of National Geographic Society’s International Geography Awareness Week (November 12–16), GIS Day is a global event to highlight geographic information system (GIS) technology and the important contributions it makes in many aspects of society.
