Jenny Kendler: Bewilder | Be Wilder – the Natural World and Art
A Data Studio Presents STEAM* Event

The presentation features a conversation between Jenny Kendler, nationally and internationally recognized interdisciplinary artist, environmental activist, wild forager, naturalist, and social entrepreneur and Ruta Saliklis, San Luis Obispo Museum of Art (SLOMA) Exhibitions and Development Director, about the intersection of art, activism, and the natural sciences.
Kendler is currently the first Artist-in-Residence with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and is based in Chicago. Kendler holds a BFA from The Maryland Institute College of Art (2002, summa cum laude) and a MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2006). She stewards two arts non-profits, as Vice President of artist residency ACRE, and a member of Threewalls’ Community Cabinet.
Kendler’s art will be on exhibit, at SLOMA, from April 1 through May 29, 2016.
