Event Details
The San Luis Obispo GIS User Group presents SLO GIS Day at the Downtown San Luis Obispo Public Library. This event features exhibits, a map gallery, and networking for anyone interested in maps and geospatial technologies. GIS Day provides an excellent opportunity for students, professionals, and the public to share their interests from across different disciplines and domains, from research and education, local government, non-profits and private industry.
Held each year on the Wednesday of National Geographic Society’s International Geography Awareness Week (November 13–17), GIS Day is a global event to highlight geographic information system (GIS) technology and the important contributions it makes in many aspects of society.
