Students Put Their Feet Up
The atrium, revitalized

The library's outdoor space was revitalized over the summer thanks to a generous gift from Library Leadership Council founding member Peter Booth Wiley.

The space was inspired by conceptual drawings students developed in an interdisciplinary project course offered through the College of Architecture and Environmental Design. The atrium features new landscaping, bright awnings and more than 60 outdoor seats, creating a warm and inviting space where students can take advantage of San Luis Obispo's mild weather all year long.

We set up a webcam to document the renovation.
