This is our main web site which provides access to all of our services, library information, and assistance in finding resources. You're in it right now.
Finds books and other resources at Kennedy Library. It is the catalog of our complete collection. You can also manage your account, including renewing your books, seeing your reading history, reviewing saved searches, and checking your Link+ requests.
The Kennedy Library channel on My Cal Poly (look for the "Library Services" tab). Use it to access our online services (like article databases) when you are off campus.
Find the articles using databases that pertain to your specific subject.
Find It helps you get full-text versions of articles. This is especially handy when you have found the article you need, but can only get an abstract or partial text from the database. Click on "Find It" to get the full-text article.
Citation Linker helps you find specific journals, rather than specific articles. Use Citation Linker when you already know the name of the journal you need.
Borrowing from other libraries. Check Link+ if we don't have what you're looking for. Items borrowed from participating libraries in California and Nevada are delivered in 3-5 days.
Borrowing from other libraries. If Link+ doesn't have it, check with ILL to borrow from libraries not in the Link+ group. It takes a little longer than Link+.
24/7 chat service with a real (live!) librarian any time of the day. Ask Now consists of hundreds of librarians from across the world – that is how it is available at any time. The librarians at Kennedy Library participate in it, too.
Course Reserves is the way you access resources that have been put on reserve for a specific class by a Cal Poly professor or instructor.
These are guides created by our College Librarians to help you get started researching within a specific subject. In order to be more helpful, most of the subjects are determined by major.
