Interlibrary Services

Through Interlibrary Services you can borrow materials from another library. At Cal Poly, this service is free to those currently affiliated with the university: students, faculty (including emeritus), and staff.
Most journal articles are delivered directly to your desktop as PDF files. Generally this takes between 1-3 days, though some items may take longer if they're not held by our partner libraries in the Rapid ILL system.

PolyCat is the online catalog for the Kennedy Library. With PolyCat, you can find books, e-books, course reserves, online resources, senior projects, maps, periodicals, and videos in the library's collection and from libraries across California.

LINK+ allows you to request books not available at the Kennedy Library.
We collaborate with libraries in California and Nevada to find materials for you. Items are delivered to the Kennedy Library Circulation Desk or a library of your choice in two to four days and may be checked out for 21 days with one renewal.

Interlibrary Loan allows you to borrow books or materials not available at Kennedy Library from other lending institutions. Made up of a network of thousands of libraries all around the world, ILL can often get you the research materials you need, even if they are hundreds of miles away.
