General Public
- The Kennedy Library Building is closed for a two-year renovation, but services are still available. The public is welcome but please note that hours and occupancy are limited in our Temporary Service Locations.
- Visitors without a Cal Poly username and password may bring their own device into the Crandall Gym location and sign onto guest wireless. Most databases provide full access to guests working on a device while in the library. Here are further details on Guest Wifi.
- The general public can also make appointments with Special Collections and Archives (see Open Hours.)
Community Membership
- Membership is open to all individuals and/or corporate entities for an annual fee and with appropriate documentation.

Events and exhibits
Kennedy Library looks forward to reconnecting with the community through events and exhibits when the renovation is complete, expected Fall 2025.
