Professional Responsibilities

• Lead Library outreach and service activities to support the information resource needs of the students, faculty and staff of the College of Engineering
• Deliver a range of information literacy instruction to undergraduate and graduate students
• Manage Library engineering collection in consultation with CENG
• Build a network of professional relationships in the library, CENG, Support Services and the wider library community to support future projects and create opportunities for development
• Develop training and support for faculty in:
  • the use of online resources to demonstrate research impact
  • the use academic social networks for current awareness and to identify opportunities for collaboration in their subject areas
  • the evolving issue of "publishers guidelines on academic publishing"

Research Interests

• Engineering information literacy
• The measurement and communication of library value
• Analysis of electronic resource metrics
• Academic use of bibliometrics
