Kennedy Library welcomes Peter Runge


On March 1st, Peter Runge joined the Robert E. Kennedy Library as the Head of Special Collections and University Archives.

He will be responsible for providing vision and direction for the acquisition, arrangement, preservation, advancement and promotion of the Kennedy Library’s archival and manuscript collections and related services. He has responsibility for the department’s administration, collection development and public services.

Peter is the former Manuscripts and Digital Content Curator at the Cline Library Special Collections and Archives on the campus of Northern Arizona University. Previously he worked in the special collections and archives libraries at the University of California, San Diego, Union College and the University at Albany, SUNY. He has a BA in literature from Villanova University, a MA in literature from West Chester University and a MS in information science with a concentration in archives and records management from the University at Albany, SUNY.
