Information literacy or information competence includes the practical skills involved in effective use of information technology and information resources, either print or electronic. An information literate person can:

The Information Competence Website for Marketing consists of six modules. Each module examines a different aspect of informational, business, and marketing competencies:

Module 4 discuses international markets and country financial data.
Module 5 introduces Geographic Information Systems.
