Open Access to Textbooks for Students

OATS logoWhat are OATS?

OATS is a collection of textbooks and study guides the library purchased as additional support to course-assigned texts.
These books are for all students to use in the library.
If you need access to these materials outside of the library, you can scan or copy from any of the library’s stations.

How Can I Find OATS?

You can identify an OATS book from other library books or course reserves when you see this label.
FYI, not all OATS books are the same as the textbook for your class – be sure to check your syllabus and the edition.

We Need Your Help!

OATS offers students access to textbooks to enhance their learning. For everyone to benefit from these books, please enjoy them in the library.
When you’re finished, you can return them in one of the “Return Books” bins, at the Research Help Desk, or at the checkout desk. If books start disappearing, everyone loses out!

Let’s support one another’s learning by using OATS responsibly – it’s the Mustang Way!
