GIS Day at Cal Poly
Kennedy Library and the SLO GIS Users Group sponsor an annual GIS event Cal Poly. GIS Day celebrates Geographic Information System (GIS) technology and its multitude of uses.
GIS Day showcases maps created by campus users, local governments, and private industry. Cal Poly students, staff, and faculty have the opportunity to talk with representatives from various groups about how a GIS is used, how a GIS can enhance their field of study, and opportunities in the field.
