Architectural Record reported in its March issue that the following two standards are under development:
- Standard for the Design of High-Performance Green Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings, being developed by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE)
- Green Globes rating system, being established as an official standard by the Green Building Initiative (GBI)
