Reed Construction Data (which owns RSMeans, the building cost data supplier) is acquiring Tectonic Partners. Tectonic is the creator of BIM Library Manager, a software application designed for the organization and management of families of objects in Autodesk’s Revit. According to Iain Melville, CEO of Reed Construction Data, “Reed Construction Data and Tectonic together will move BIM to truly integrate RSMeans data into the work flows of architects, engineers and contractors”.
