There is no denying that Obama’s online campaign and presence harnessed the web in a way that no other politician and few other web companies have done in the past. They dominated, mastered, owned, and ruled the web in the seemingly most friendly, inviting, smart and inclusive way. I’m sure web developers will be studying this for at least the next year, because where Obama went is where we will all be going.

The PR firm Edelman released a PDF article analyzing what the Obama campaign did, suggesting ways that companies can incorporate these practices into their own online game plans.
