Read about the Library's commitment to ensuring a pleasant and productive environment for study and research for all users.
Kennedy Library is committed to making both printed and digital content accessible to all patrons.
Our policies support a respectful and comfortable environment for students and other library users.
We are committed to respecting the confidentiality and privacy of all our library users.
This policy establishes the basic principles and guidelines used by the faculty and staff of the Robert E. Kennedy Library in the evaluation, selection, acquisition, and maintenance of library materials in all formats.
Get information about Kennedy Library policies on computing, computer labs and smart classrooms, and rooms including collaboration rooms, group study rooms and more.
Cal Poly grad students have access to a study room that includes computers and a printer; modular furniture (reconfigure the room for personal or group work); and mobile lockers (very cool!) available for 21- or 90-day checkout, and more. Fixed hall lockers are also available on the Library's second floor for 90-day checkout.
The library sponsors its own exhibits and considers requests to provide temporary/rotating space for academic departments, student groups recognized by the university, and faculty and students who wish to sponsor an exhibit.
