Library Information Technology

Library Information Technology provides leadership in designing and enhancing digital and physical environments, managing library systems and infrastructure, programming, and web publishing and design at the Robert E. Kennedy Library.

Digital Services and Environments

The Kennedy Library is dedicated to innovation and leadership and to integrating technology throughout library services. Recognizing the rapid changes in our users' research and computing needs, we continually update our facilities and services to serve all our users, bringing together smart technologies, collaborative learning spaces and expert assistance.

Library Systems and Support

The library systems and support team maintains PolyCAT, the online public access catalog to the university's library holdings; delivers access to other library systems and resources such as online databases, electronic interlibrary loan, and electronic course reserves; and provides desktop support and maintenance for users, faculty and staff in the library.

Programming and Web Development

The web design, graphics, and programming group manages our web sites, library portal channel, and supports the development of the library’s communication materials in close collaboration with the Communications and Special Initiatives Team. This includes graphic design, content management, illustration and photography by the Design Team.
