Wireless Capacity Doubled!

Monday, December 8th, 2008 Kennedy Library saw the largest wireless network demand ever recorded. Usage surpassed availability for most of the day. The library worked with Information Technology Services to increase capacity and — by Monday evening — wireless capacity was doubled, fixing the current access issue.

Continued Improvements

Kennedy Library has doubled wireless capacity twice in the last year — a sign that you are using our services now more than ever. We are committed to continued improvement in our wireless network speeds and availability.

The library will go through a hardware upgrade early winter quarter 2009, further improving both speed and bandwidth. We appreciate your patronage and want to provide you with the best service possible.
