Web Applications Programmer

Kennedy Library is seeking a Web Applications Programmer to integrate and develop web applications in support of library services and web site resources. Required skills include HTML, SQL, CSS, XML, Java, and JavaScript.

The Web Applications Programmer is primarily responsible for the integration and development of applications, web services, database back-ends, and integrated software solutions to ensure the seamless delivery of online library resources. In addition, the incumbent sets programming objectives, standards, and workflow; determines overall technical system requirements; and ensures the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.

Student Assistant Positions

Learn by doing. Student employees are vital to meeting the library's goals and objectives. Approximately 100 students (hourly and work study) are employed by the library in many different capacities. We hire student pages for our circulation and reference departments, assistants in Special Collections and administration department, systems administration assistants, software programming assistants, and print and web design assistants.
