Cats in the Atrium
The Paws that Refreshes

Science has proven that interacting with pets helps alleviate stress and calm people down. On April 29, the library hosted feline visitors from the Cal Poly Cat Program.

Titled "The Paws that Refreshes" the event lasted two hours and was organized in the hopes that it would help students de-stress.

This annual event is organized by the Library's Stressbuster Taskgroup. This group has looked for ways to help minimize the stresses students feel during the academic school year. Some of the activities have been as simple as putting out candy and food for students to creating a daily blog called the 5 Minute Study Break.
