The Dean of Library Services reports to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and is a member of the Academic Dean's Council.
The Library Leadership Team serves as the principal decision-making and advisory body to the Dean of Library Services on major policies and planning.

The Leadership Team also:
- Provides a forum for communication between Library administrators and Library faculty and staff
- Identifies and defines problems and policy issues requiring attention and recommends appropriate strategies to address them
- Functions as the forum for discussions, evaluation, and refinement of new and/or revised policies and procedures
